Covenant United Reformed Church is a congregation of the United Reformed Churches in North America. We are a church plant of Coram Deo Reformation Church in Littleton, CO. We seek to obey the risen Lord Jesus as His church by preaching repentance (God's Law) and the forgiveness of sins (the good news of His cross and resurrection) in His Name to all people.
Disciples are made by means of baptizing men, women, and their children in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and by the authoritative teaching of the Law and the Gospel.
We believe that Christ has given three marks in the Bible to identify His Church: the pure preaching the of the Gospel, the pure administration of the sacraments, and the exercise of church discipline (loving accountability under the oversight of elders).
A COVENANT COMMUNITY
As a Reformed church, we believe the promise of the Gospel is "...for you and for your children..." as the Apostle Peter preached on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:39). The covenant promises God made to Abraham (and his children) are now fulfilled in the Gospel of the crucified and risen Christ (for us and for our children). Therefore, "discipleship" is not just for believing adults, but for their children, too. We encourage families to grow together in the Gospel, and so our second service is devoted to teaching the faith by way of our Three Forms of Unity (the Heidelberg Catechism, Belgic Confession, and Canons of Dort).
