Our History
Covenant Church in Colorado Springs began in 2011 as a church plant when several families desired to form a Reformed church plant in affiliation with the United Reformed Churches in North America (URCNA).
Covenant Church has been served by three former pastors: Rev. Alex Garleb, Rev. Tony Phelps, and Rev. Dr. Fritz Harms. Rev. Jason Ryce has been providing Covenant with regular preaching since July of 2023, and has agreed to the Steering Committee's request to continue serving as our pastor through the end of 2024.
Covenant Church has been previously supervised by an overseeing church council and consistory at Coram Deo URC in Denver, Colorado. Covenant Church desires to once again be taken under supervision by a URC consistory at some point in the future.
Our goal is to become a fully organized and particularized local church in the future. Come and help us serve the Lord together!
